Walk Saturday 27th November 2021
Saturday's walk will be lead by Jim (07502475922). It's a 6.5 mi on-island walk from Mount Stuart main entrance to Kilchattan PO via Bruchag Point. The terrain will be varied - paths, tracks and roads, with atmospheric views over the Clyde Estuary, and the likely presence of seals, various sea-birds, cattle and sheep. There are a couple of marvellous beaches and Bruchag stones are worth seeing. You need to take walking pole(s) as the coastal path is rough, and a picnic lunch + drink, although the PO cafe should be open for snacks and coffees. Reckon on the walk taking 3-4 hrs. We catch the 9:45 am bus south from Guildford Square. See you there, hopefully? Jim
