Wemyss Bay circular Walking up the Kelly Burn and through the caravan park to return via the shore to the ferry terminal at Wemyss Bay. An easy 5 miles led by Marion (07791 903956). Meet in the Rothesay ferry terminal to take the 10am ferry but do not purchase tickets until the leader confirms that the walk will go ahead.

Barone Hill circular 10am from the Discovery Centre to walk up Barone Hill and to Loch Fad before returning to Rothesay. 5 miles, easy, led by Paul (07541 080332).

Walk for Tuesday, 10th September 2024 - CANCELLED
Due to adverse weather conditions forecast, ferries liable to disruption or cancellation. Harry proposes to catch the 9.45 bus from Guildford Square to Kilchattan and walk back to Rothesay. Phone him for more details if needed.
Kaim Hill circular from Fairlie station. The walk is initially on gravel path and tracks which may be muddy. There is a section on possibly boggy open moor. Super views, an old millstone quarry and a rock with cup and ring markings. Generally a moderate walk (6 miles) but may be strenuous on the moor. Meet at Chapel Hill car park at 8.30am for car sharing, to catch the 9am ferry to Wemyss Bay. Please contact the leader, Harry, (07801 946643) a few days before to ensure you have a space in a car.
