Rhubodach to Ettrick Bay Walking from Rhubodach to Ettrick Bay mainly on good forest paths which may be muddy in places. 10.15am bus north from Guildford Square to Rhubodach, return by public transport, hourly from Ettrick Bay. Approx 6 miles, moderate, led by Harry (07801 946643) - bring a picnic.

Kilchattan to Dunagoil
Walking from Kilchattan to Dunagoil, the Fort and the Garraty, and back to Kilchattan via St Blane's and Glencallum Bay and the lighthouse. 09.45 bus south from Guildford Square to Kilchattan. Return by public transport (hourly from Kilchattan). 7 miles easy, led by Margaret (07585 325002). Bring a picnic, cafe at the end of the walk.

Rhubodach - Balnakeilly - Kayak shelter. Meet 9am Chapel Hill carpark for car sharing. Contact the leader, Harry on 07801 946643, a few days before to ensure a place in a car to walk from Rhubodach via Balnakeilly to the kayak shelter on rough forest tracks and return via shore.

Lunderston Bay Taking the 10am ferry from Rothesay and bus from Wemyss Bay to Cardwell Garden Centre for a walk around Lunderston Bay - various options available depending on the group and the weather, 3-5 miles easy access. Meet in Rothesay ferry terminal for the 10am ferry to Wemyss Bay but do not purchase tickets until the walk leader (Shona - 07881 696035) confirms the walk will go ahead.
