10.15am bus north from Guildford Square to Moss Wood to walk to Rhoda House for the barbecue at 1pm. Steep hill from Moss Wood, possibly muddy in places. Bring a snack to keep you going! 6 miles, moderate, led by Harry

Rothesay to Kingarth via the West Island Way. Meet 10am at the Discovery Centre, Rothesay, to walk to Kingarth Hotel, via the WIW, Loch Fad and Scoulag Moor. Bring a picnic and plenty to drink. 7.5miles, easy, led by Paul (07541 080332).

Port Bannatyne Gala and short walk Saturday, 13th July 2024
9.45am bus north from Guildford Square to Port Bannatyne to walk an easy 2 miles along the tramway to Ettrick Bay tearooms. Return either by bus or walk back to the port to enjoy the gala and help at the Ramblers information stand. Walk leader Martin. Walk for Tuesday 9 July 2024
Greenock Cut Taking the 9am ferry from Rothesay to Wemyss Bay, then the train to Drumfrochar, to walk back to Wemyss Bay along the Greenock Cut. Meet in the ferry terminal at 8.45 but only buy your ticket when the walk leader confirms the walk will go ahead. Bring a picnic, possibility of a cafe along the route. 9 miles, easy, leader Marion - let her know if you're coming with us for the first time on 07791 903956.
