Amended Walk for Saturday 24 October 2020
Meet at 9.45am at the bus stop, and decide what to do depending on the weather etc.
Saturday's walk is led by Wendy, getting the 09.46am bus south from Guildford Square, alight at Kingarth Hotel. Road walk to the startof the West Island Way middle section that leads over the moor to Rothesay. 8 miles easy with possibly mud underfoot. You will need a mask for the bus, and bring refreshments for the walk.

Update on travel restrictions - Ramblers groups across Scotland can continue to run walks of up to 30 people following the Ramblers' restart procedures and government regulations, although many walk leaders are setting lower limits. You should not travel in or out of the affected health board areas in Scotland, or very high alert areas in England.

Saturday walk for 17th October 2020
10.00am start from Discovery Centre. Going out along Shore Road to Port Bannatyne, down Tramway, cutting up to Achavoulaig Farm and over Hill to Scarrel, then back along road to Ettrick. About 8 miles/3 hours walk. Likely to be muddy coming down off hill towards Scarrel, otherwise easy/moderate walking.
