Rothesay - Cnocnicoll Wood - Hill of Ascog circular. Meet 10am at the Discovery Centre, Rothesay, to walk via Loch Fad and the West Island Way, Cnocnicoll Wood, Kerrycroy, Hill of Ascog and Loch Ascog, to return to Rothesay via the Serpentine. 10 miles, moderate, bring a picnic. Walk for Saturday, 18th May 2024 - NOTE - CHANGE OF WALK
Hill of Ascog avoiding fields with lambs. Still meet at Guildford Square bus stop at 9.45 to do the alternative version of this walk that was done with the Gathering in order to avoid fields with sheep and lambs. 4-5 miles, easy. Walk for Saturday 20 April 2024
Starting from the Discovery Centre, Rothesay at 10am and walking to Ettrick Bay via the Gortans on good tracks and footpaths. 5 miles, easy, Return by public transport. There may be some mud so dress suitably, bring something to eat and drink, though there's the tearooms at the end of the walk.
