Peter is leading the walk for Saturday 4 September to Ettrick Bay starting from Discovery Centre at 10am. Will take a walk through Skeoch Wood then along Ardbeg Road and Shore Road to Port Bannatyne and down tramway to Ettrick. Easy walking all the way, just over 2 hours walking.    Packed lunch or refreshments available at cafe. Buses back to town shortly after the  hour.

Walkers are advised to take walking pole(s) and gaiters, personal First Aid kit, insect repellent, a drink, face covering for cafes and public transport. Please note that you need to register for the walk before-hand by texting name, phone number and membership number (if a member) to the Bute Ramblers phone (07516373584) as the Ramblers regulations on covid-avoidance still hold. 

Walk leaders, please remember to complete a risk assessment for your walk (available here as a pdf ). If you complete an electronic copy, you can email the the completed form to Bute Ramblers (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). Paper copies can be obtained from Wendy, and the completed form returned to her. We are required by the Ramblers to keep risk assessments on file for a year.
