Ormidale to Tighnabruaich. Meet 9am at Chapel Hill car park for car sharing via 9.40 Rhubodach ferry to drive to Ormidale and then walk to Tighnabruaich, and catch the 15.09 bus back from Tighnabruaich to the cars at Ormidale junction. 16.00 ferry return. Please note that the middle section of this walk is hard due to the uphill and poor track conditions, 6.5 miles. Worth the effort for spectacular views. Poles recommended. Bring a packed lunch. Cafes at Tighnabruaich at the end of the walk. Pickups on the way to Rhubodach ferry can be arranged. Please contact the leader, Martin (07757 625494), in advance to ensure a place in a car.
