Isle of Bute Ramblers

Patrick is leading the walk. Meet at lovely cottage 9.55 am to meet the Rothesay bus. Walk to Kildavannan farm via Hydro road and tramway to Ettrick bay. Then to Scarrel farmstead via Kildavannan track. Back down to Glecknabae rd and walk to the Red burn track to Lenihall farmstead. Back via Glecknabae Road to Ettrick Bay and catch the bus back. About 11 kilometres or 6 miles. Packed lunch or alternatively Ettrick bay tearoom. Poles and gaiters. Terrain rolling hillside. could be a bit muddy. 

Walkers are advised to take walking pole(s) and gaiters, personal First Aid kit, insect repellent, a drink, face covering for cafes and public transport. Please note that you need to register for the walk before-hand by texting name, phone number and membership number (if a member) to the Bute Ramblers phone (07516373584) as the Ramblers regulations on covid-avoidance still hold.
