South End Loop - 9.45 bus from Guildford Square to Kilchatten. Walking out WIW to Lighthouse then walking up into Glen Callum and walking back to Kilchatten along the West Ridge. About 4 miles, two and a half hours walking. Moderate walk but as usual the path out to the lighthouse is rough in places and there is a short but steepish climb into the Glen, good pair of boots/wellies advised. 4 miles, moderate, led by Peter (07925 464035).

Hill of Ascog Walking from the Discovery Centre, Rothesay, at 10am via woodland and farm tracks to the Hill of Ascog with views over Rothesay Bay, and returning to Shona's for soup. 5 miles, easy, led by Paul (07541 080332).

War Memorial via Moor Road to Rothesay 9.45am bus south to the War Memorial at Mount Stuart from Guildford Square, to walk along a good track back into Rothesay via the Moor Road and Loch Fad. 5 miles, easy, led by Harry (07801 946643).
